QV Bioelectronics Featured in NIHR 2025/26 Annual Report

QV Bioelectronics has been spotlighted in the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) 2025/26 Annual Report, recognised in the Investment chapter for the role NIHR funding played in the development of GRACE, our world-first implantable electric field therapy device for brain cancer.

Glioblastoma affects around 2,200 adults in the UK each year, with only 3% of patients surviving five years after diagnosis and very limited treatment options available. With early-stage NIHR funding, we developed a fully implantable device that uses electric fields to target cancer cells remaining in the brain after surgery. Since that initial support, QV Bioelectronics has secured £4.5 million in private investment to progress towards first-in-human studies.

Co-founder Dr Christopher Bullock said: "Our mission is to develop technology that can meaningfully extend life and give people more time with those they love. This investment allows us to take a major step towards that goal, progressing into first-in-human studies and generating the vital evidence needed to bring a new treatment approach to the patients who need it most."
